One / The Sweetest Thing

I've been talking about this Sabres team since last season and like a lot of hockey fans I just can't get enough of them. The Sabres now have 39 goals in 8 games and are a perfect 8-0. I can't say enough about Lindy Ruff's team - both the players that they have and the style that they play.

The Sabres got two goals from Chris Drury and three points from Campbell and Vanek. They clearly have not missed a beat from last season where they were a game away from the Cup finals despite injuries to four key defencemen. Toivonen started for Boston and gave up four goals before being replaced by Tim Thomas.

Buffalo is in Montreal on Monday as they try to keep the streak going.
