Evgeni Malkin scored for the third game in a row and the Penguins also got 2 goals from 18-year old Jordan Staal who may be making a last minute case argument to stay with the team, scoring short-handed and on a penalty shot.
Columbus has won just two of their first seven and will likely be in for another long year but this young Pittsburgh team has now won 2 in a row and may be a threat in the Atlantic where Philadelphia, New Jersey and both New York teams have been inconsistent at best thus far.
