Why would the NHL put games on at the same time as the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony?
The entire focus of the hockey world should be on Dick Duff, Harley Hotchkiss, the late Herb Brooks and Patrick Roy right now. Is it really too much to ask for an hour or an hour and a half to honour those who have built up and starred in the game?
My suggestion - either have the ceremony on a Sunday night and just have one game on after or keep the game on the Monday night, from 6:30 to 8 and start the games a little later. You could even open up the arenas early and have the ceremony shown on all the jumbotrons across the league.
