After scoring both Oiler goals tonight, Ryan Smyth left the game late with an apparent injury after a knee-on-knee hit by John-Michael Liles.
Smyth has 1/4 of the Oiler goals this season and he's been in on 35%. If he misses significant time this will be a serious blow to the Oilers' playoff hopes, with 10 legit contenders vying for eight spots in the West.
Edit: According to Dan Tencer on hockeybuzz.com the injury is just a charley horse and NOT a knee injury. Great news for the Oilers..
